What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Brut? Well if you are around my age (mid-30’s!) I expect it won’t be good thoughts, or it maybe something along the lines of my dad or grandad used that, back in the day!

To be honest that was what I thought too, it’s got a fairly bad reputation, and it even used that in a past ad campaign, “that 70’s ladies man vibe…”

However it has been relaunched as a sport style deodorant, to give it a more modern edge and the packaging certainly reflects that, as it looks very high end and classic, taking the good things from the original…

On a side note the original spray is still available Click here to purchase the original body spray

As I’m not a man (I know I could use it, if I wanted too) and not its target audience,  I asked my other half if he could try it out!

Initially he was a little apprehensive to try it, but after he smelt the scent, he was pleasantly surprised!

“The fragrance has citrus top notes and Bergamot, Lemon, Grapefruit and Mandarin, rounded off with Sandalwood and Cedarwood”

So it really is aimed at the modern man who has grown out of a younger body spray.

He first tried it out when he had a busy day at work with lots of meetings and running around, and he was impressed by its protection, however he did need to top up when he used it at the gym, but he would do that anyway!

Also he suffers with sensitive skin and had no bad reactions!

His only negative with the spray was with the scent which he wasn’t too keen on, as initially it smells great, but he found it a bit too overwhelming, but everything else he loved!

I was sent the deodorant for free to test out.
